Shiraz-Merlot

The Blend

75% McLaren Vale Shiraz, 25% McLaren Vale Merlot from the classic 2005 vintage.

The Color

Dark and opaque black crimson color with purple crimson hue.

The Nose

Is deep and slightly gamey, violet with red fruit and a hint of earth and leather.

Palate

Full body with firm tannin and a rich sweet mid-palate. Intense dark berry fruit flavors, with layers of black cherries, plum and spices. Long finish.
The wine is unfiltered and unfined.
