Our Winemaker
Doron Yitzhaki
A passion for wine and winemaking has always been a central part of Doron Yitzhaki's life. At the age of 38, it was time for him to turn dreams into reality. The entire Yitzhaki family took part in establishing "Tulip" - an upscale boutique winery in Kfar Tikva in northern Israel.
Kfar Tikva is a special village for developmentally challenged adults. Doron initiated an exceptional project that succeeded in integrating residents of the village into the wine making process.
In a very short time, Tulip with Doron Yitzhaki as chief winemaker, was recognized amongst the finest wines in Israel, reaping both national and international awards.
In 2007, seeking new horizons Doron, together with his brother and two close friends partnered to initiate the Fusion Global Winery project as their “flying winemaker”.
Doron Yitzhaki, an engineer by profession, earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Oenology from the University of Adelaide in South Australia.
